NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain will pull away from Maine tomorrow as low pressure and
a cold front move into Canada. A mix of rain and snow
showers will fall in northern portions of Minnesota and
Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, with spotty
rain showers in Lower Michigan. Thunderstorms may begin to
develop late in the day from central Oklahoma eastward into
northern and central Arkansas, far southern Missouri and
western Tennessee. Heavy rain is likely overnight in the
same locations. Farther west, afternoon thunderstorms in
southeastern California and central Arizona could cause
localized instances of flooding. A few thunderstorms will
rumble in South Florida, mainly during the afternoon. The
Northwest will remain dry, and more record highs are
possible.
