City accepts 2019 audit, contracts with CPA for fiscal years 2020 and 2021

The City of Indianola took several steps this past Monday to show a good faith effort to the state auditor’s office that work on annual fiscal audits for 2019-present are underway.
City Clerk Stephanie Washington presented the 2019 audit to the board.

On Thursday, July 24 at 4:35pm, the Ruleville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire on Mississippi Highway 8 near the intersection of Lusk Road.
On Friday, July 25 at 6:57am, the Indianola Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Drive, North (Hwy 49).
