The City of Indianola began Wednesday night’s board meeting with one city attorney and wrapped up the meeting with an entirely different one. Mid-meeting, the board voted 3-0 to hire Clarksdale attorney Derek Hopson as Kimberly Merchant’s replacement, effective immediately.
