Indianola police made the following arrests,
On January 29 at 4:49 p.m., John Henry Swift, 33, 1402 West Pine Circle was arrested and charged with embezzlement from the Love's Truck Stop. He allegedly stole $423 in cash.
On January 28 at 6:44 p.m., Marlaysha Decolbee Beamon, 19, 809 Pat Luckett Road, Canton was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said they saw two women bagging unpaid items without scanning them and then leaving the store with the items. The stolen merchandise consists of more than $24 worth of assorted food items, including peaches, Ruffles potato chips, sliced pineapples and other fruit snacks, plus $9 worth of antifreeze.

On January 29 at 3:37 p.m., a 48-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman reported that someone had killed a boxer dog.
On January 29 at 7:32 a.m., a 35-year-old South Walker Street woman said a 15-year-old Jefferson Street resident assaulted her 13-year-old child.
On January 29 at 10 a.m., a 27-year-old Virginia Street woman said a 25-year-old Smith Street, Pace, man damaged the window in her front door in the 200 block of Virginia Street.
On January 28 at 9:45 p.m., a Kinlock Road woman said a 42-year-old Hampton Street man came in to Eddie's Discount Market on Front Street and took two cans of Busch’s beer from the cooler and walked out of the store without paying for them so she wants to file charges against him.
On January 29 at 1:10 p.m., a 33-year-old Foxchase Drive, Greenville man said someone stole a 2012 Nissan valued at $13,000 from the Oak Manor apartments on Dorsett Drive.
On Friday at 9:13 a.m., a Walmart employee said a 30-year-old Eastmoor Subdivision, Moorhead woman was shoplifting at the store.
On January 28 at 2:57 a.m., a 37-year-old Front Street woman said someone broke into the Lavender Lane store by breaking a glass window and stole a $500 cash register.
On Tuesday at 6:55 a.m., a 52-year-old Ezell Drive man, the owner of the Neighborhood Grocery on Bates Street, said that on Monday at around 3:10 a.m., someone tried to burn down his business by pouring gas around the front and a side of the building, lighting it and running away.
On Friday at 2:27 a.m., a 36-year-old Bellevue Drive man and a 29-year-old South Theobald Street Greenville woman said someone shot into a home in the 900 block of Bellevue Drive.
On January 28 at 7:33 a.m., a Church Street couple reported their 17-year-old son as missing.
On Monday at 4:06 p.m., a 35-year-old West Percy Street woman said someone broke into her home and stole a .380 handgun, a .25 caliber handgun, a set of white Apple Airpods, a black hoverboard, an assortment of 10 women’s watches and three men’s watches, plus an Xbox one.
