On January 21 at 11:17 a.m., April Hancock, 48, 500 Grand Ave., was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Shoppers Value Foods employee said she stole a $3 pack of Johnsonville sausages and a $4 pack of hog head cheese.
On Sunday at 4:04 p.m., Lonorris Whitley, 43, 108 Stonewall Drive was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, profanity in public and disorderly conduct failure to comply with the request of a law enforcement officer

On Thursday at 6:37 p.m., a 26-year-old Tori Dawn Drive, Gulfport woman said her cousin, a 34-year-old Fuggitt Circle man, threatened her by saying, “You are going to get yours” when she told him that he had to leave her mother's home. The woman said that she wants to press charges against him for threatening assault.
On Thursday at 2:16 p.m., a 36-year-old Marie Road woman and a 38-year-old Marie Road man said someone broke into their home and stole three rifles, two shotguns, a .22 caliber handgun, a .45 caliber handgun, a .357 caliber handgun, and a PlayStation 4.
On Friday at 8:30 a.m., a 24-year-old Fountain Street woman said someone broke into her home. The inventory of what was taken is still being done.
On January 22 at 10:23 a.m., a Hampton Street man said a 32-year-old Lincoln Avenue man committed fraud against him by forgery.
On January 22 at 2:38 p.m., a 22-year-old Airport Road man and a 41-year-old Airport Road woman said a 19-year-old East Quiver Street, Sunflower man was harassing them.
On Sunday at 8:57 a.m., a 36-year-old Roosevelt Street woman said that a 55-year-old Roosevelt Street man hit her in the face. A 15-year-old Roosevelt Street girl said the man hit her also.
On January 21 at 8:33 p.m., a J-Mack’s grocery employee said that a 43-year-old Garrard Avenue man stole a Hunt’s Brothers light-up sign.
On Friday at 12:01 p.m., officers were called to the Dollar General warehouse by a 48-year-old West Martin Luther King Drive, Greenwood man because of an accident in the parking lot that resulted in damage to a 2010 Dodge Charger and a 2013 Dodge Challenger driven by a woman.
On January 20 at 8:10 a.m., a 40-year-old North Martin Luther King Drive man said someone stole a gray Cadillac CTS valued at $18,000, and a 2014 Cadillac CTS valued at $18,000 from Tradition Auto Sales on North Martin Luther King Drive.
On Friday at 7:08 a.m., the U-Haul Neighbor Dealer on Front Street Ext., said someone vandalized his property with a brick.
On Friday at 11:20 a.m., a Jackson Street woman said a 45-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman was contributing to the delinquency of a minor described as a runaway Jackson Street boy.
On Saturday at 8:22 p.m., a 45-year-old Stonewall Drive woman driving a 2016 Chevrolet truck and a 43-year-old Meadowlake Drive, Memphis man driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu were involved in an accident in the 100 block of Stonewall Drive, no injuries were reported.
On January 20 at 7:46 p.m., a 33-year-old Curtis Street woman said someone shot into her home damaging a window.
On January 21 at 9:28 a.m., a 38-year-old Mimosa Drive resident said someone stole her Quetiapine Fumarate medicine.
