Indianola police made the following arrest,
On Saturday at 11:52 p.m., Dequavious Smith, 21, 703 Airport Road was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after officers were called to his home during a domestic dispute. Smith was allegedly attempting to fight with his stepfather, was very angry and tried to jump over officers to get to the stepfather.

On December 30 at 11:20 a.m., a Planters Bank employee said they received a counterfeit $100 bill.
On Sunday at 2:43 a.m., Fire Chief Orlando Battle told officers that a 39-year-old Easy Street man said that his girlfriend, a Ruleville woman, set his house on fire after an argument.
On Thursday at 8:44 p.m., a 21-year-old Oak Street woman said that her children's father, a 24-year-old Shannon Ferguson Cove man, keeps following her around town, to her job and to her home. He also allegedly made intimidating statements toward her and threatened to shoot up her house.
On Saturday at 12:42 a.m., a 41-year-old Airport Road woman said that her husband, a 55-year-old Airport Road man, pushed her out of the bed, pointed a gun at her and told her that he was going to blow away everyone that came to the house that night. The woman said she did not want to press charges, but wants the incident on file.
On Monday at 4 p.m., a 64-year-old Fuller Avenue man said that someone damaged the front bumper on his Nissan Altima.
On December 27 at 10:23 p.m., a 44-year-old Lee Circle woman and a 38-year-old Fifth Street, Inverness man were involved in a domestic dispute. No injuries were reported.
On December 13 at 12:32 p.m., a 26-year-old Sunflower Street, Belzoni woman said that someone backed into her car on U.S. 82 near Bolden's Windshield and left the scene.
On December 31 at 8:32 p.m., a 66-year-old Ezell Drive man said that a 33-year-old MS 442, Doddsville man, driving a 2005 Ford tow truck, backed into a window and damaged the front glass of a building in the 500 block of U.S. 82.
On December 31 at 12:51 p.m., a Planters Bank employee said they received a counterfeit $100 bill in the dropbox from the Shoppers Value Foods store.
On January 1 at 9:17 p.m., an Oak Street woman and an 18-year-old Elmwood Circle man said someone shot into a home in the 700 block of Oak Street.
On Friday at 11:31 a.m., a 64-year-old Kinlock Road man said someone stole some checks out of his checkbook and went to the Shoppers Value Foods store and wrote nine checks that totaled $500.
On December 30 at 1:49 p.m., a 20-year-old Birdsong Street man said he lost his wallet somewhere near Walmart and it contained his social security card, driver's license and bank cards.
On December 30 at 8:18 p.m., a 24-year-old Pershing Avenue woman said someone broke into her home and took a $150 Xbox and a television set.
On Thursday at 11:14 a.m., a 50-year-old Clover Drive woman, driving a 2017 Nissan Maxima and a 45-year-old Charlie Ellis Road man, driving a 2001 Olds Aurora, were involved in an accident at the intersection of Fasonia Drive and U.S. 82. No injuries were reported.
On January 1 at 12:30 a.m., a 46-year-old Lewis Street, Leland woman said she found a bullet hole in the trunk of her 2018 Chevrolet Camaro that was parked at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church on Fourth Avenue.
On Saturday at 11:53 a.m., a MS 1110, Doddsville man said a 24-year-old Stockyard Road, Sunflower man committed fraud by writing a $1,012 insufficient funds check to Indianola Collision.
On Monday at 8:58 a.m., a Hough Street man said someone was shooting windows out of homes in the 700 block of Hoover Street with a BB gun.
On Saturday at 3:47 p.m., a 41-year-old French Road man said someone vandalized his property in the 700 block of Hoover Street.

On January 1 at 2:56 a.m., Michael Warfield, 39, 110 North Cliff Finch St., Sunflower, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct—breach of peace.
On Friday at 5 p.m., Frederick Brown, 19, Cleveland, was arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling.
On Friday at 5:30 p.m., Shakeita George, 32, 228 South Martin Luther King Street, Sunflower, was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct—breach of peace.
On Monday at 6:25 p.m., Leonard Black, 21, 526 Delmar Ave., # 4, Ruleville, was arrested and charged with felony fleeing.
On Monday at 6:25 p.m., Thomas Unger, 53, 214 Delmar Ave., Ruleville, was arrested and charged with felony possession of firearm, burglary—all but dwelling (auto burglary).
On Tuesday 2:44 p.m., Shakita Vonsha Williams, 29, 436 Lincoln St., was arrested and charged with simple assault—bodily injury and simple assault.
