Cops and Robbers July 18, 2019

Indianola police made the following arrests,

On Saturday at 10:44 p.m., Diane Carter 51, 411 Mimosa Drive was arrested and charged with public drunkenness after police were called to Hannah Avenue near Second Street.

On Thursday at 11:15 p.m., Shawntrice Lynn Goode 32, 114 Aquarius Circle was arrested and charged with simple domestic violence after police were called to her home about a domestic dispute. A 39-year-old Aquarius Circle man is listed as the complainant.

On Saturday at 9:50 p.m., Selvin Lamar Steen 43, 410 Hanna Ave., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct failure to comply with the request of a law enforcement officer after police told him to stop going back to the Double Quick on Second Avenue and Depot Street.

On Sunday at 9:51 a.m., Lakelia Shawnta King 37, and Albert Lee Jones Jr. 31, both of 2654 Airdale Drive, Greenville were arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said the two stole $34 worth of Hanes tank tops.

On Friday at 3:03 a.m., Jagguar Winder 22, 304 Montery, Richland, Mississippi was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm within the city limits after officers were called to Chapman Street near the daycare because of a domestic disturbance.

On Saturday at 1:46 a.m., David Cornelius Baldwin 28, 207 Park Ave., was arrested and charged with reckless driving, public drunkenness, driving while license suspended/revoked, failure to have vehicle insurance card in car and simple assault on police officer after an officer said he was driving recklessly in the 900 block of U.S. 82.

On July 11 at 3:10 a.m., a 29-year-old South Lamar Street woman said a 32-year-old Fourth Avenue man assaulted her.

On July 9 at 5:22 p.m., a 20-year-old Seymour Drive woman said a 20-year-old Hood Street man is continuously harassing her through Facebook.

On Saturday at 2:32 a.m., a West Clover Drive man complained about an animal.

On Friday at 2:46 p.m., a 37-year-old Whittington Drive man said someone hit the rear driver's side bumper on his 2012 Chevrolet while it was parked at Shoppers Value Foods.

On Thursday at 10:19 a.m., a 77-year-old Mill Street man, driving a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis, hit a 70-year-old Hampshire Lane, Waukegan, Illinois woman, a 77-year-old Charlotte Drive, Wadsworth, Illinois woman and a 67-year-old Kristen Drive, Jackson woman who were standing on a sidewalk at the corner of Second Street and Sunflower Avenue, near the B.B. King Museum. The man said he was making a right turn onto Second Street when he hit the women. The Wadsworth, Illinois woman was knocked to the ground and complained of pain in her right hand, right hip and right ankle. The other two women made no claim to pain, but all said they wanted to go to Delta Regional Medical Center by private vehicle.

On Thursday at 3:52 p.m., a 54-year-old Curtis Street woman said that the Entergy electric meter was missing from her home. Officers spoke to an Entergy employee who said that the woman's meter was on a home in the 100 block of Cadillac Cove. The Entergy worker said that he had pulled the meter from the Cadillac Cove address three weeks ago and after officers investigated they found visible signs that someone had tampered with the meter on Cadillac Cove.

On July 10 at 6:58 p.m., a 57-year-old East Herman Johnson Street woman said she lost her keys in the 800 block of B.B. King Road.

On July 10 at 1:23 p.m., a 26-year-old Byas Street woman said a 25-year-old Westside Avenue man stole $500 cash out of her vehicle in the 200 block of Byas Street.

On Monday at 12:31 p.m., officers were called to the South Sunflower County Hospital because of a domestic disturbance where a 31-year-old Penny Circle Street, Sunflower woman is listed as a victim and a 26-year-old Cox Street man is listed as the suspect.

On Friday at 11:43 a.m., a MS-35, Carrollton, Mississippi man said a man tried to cash a fake check with his company's name on it.

On Tuesday at 12:44 a.m., a 26-year-old Gray Avenue woman said someone stole her Toyota Corolla valued at $17,000, a Ruger .380 handgun valued at $259 and her driver's license  from the 400 block of the street.

On Saturday at 4:59 a.m., a 27-year-old Stockyard Street, Sunflower woman said a 27-year-old Brantley Circle man damaged the driver's side door on her 2009 Nissan Altima in the area of Jefferson Street near Fountain Avenue.

On Friday at 9:54 p.m., a 33-year-old Lincoln Street man said someone broke into his home through a storm window, but nothing was reported missing.

On Friday at 4:45 p.m., a 22-year-old Kinlock Road woman said a 29-year-old Virginia Street woman and a 28-year-old Curtis Street woman have been constantly texting and calling her phone after she has told them to stop.

On Sunday at 4:32 p.m., a 43-year-old Tribbett Road, Leland man, driving a 2010 Chevrolet pickup, said that when he was backing out of a parking space at the Sonic's Drive-in, he accidentally backed into a 2015 Nissan Altima, driven by a 25-year-old Park Lane woman.

On Monday at 10:10 p.m., a 45-year-old Julianne Drive woman called officers about property damage.

On Friday at 6:32 p.m., a Garrard Avenue woman said that while she was parked at the Delta Corners restaurant someone hit her 2015 Toyota HLS and left the scene.

On Saturday at 2:28 p.m., a Double Quick employee said a 51-year-old Belk Road, Sunflower man stole several boxes of candy and some individual candy bars.

On Thursday at 12:13 p.m., a 24-year-old Kinlock Road woman said that sometime during the night hours someone broke into her 2010 Dodge Charger at the Green Acres apartment, but nothing was reported missing.

On Saturday at 4:40 p.m., Devonte Jaques Davis 23, 638 Gaines/U.S. 61 South, Boyle was arrested and charged with suspended driver's license.

On Tuesday at 10:50 a.m., Johnny Moore 46, 104 Cadillac Cove was arrested and charged with probation violation.
