Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Friday at 12:13 p.m., Lamont Estabaun Denton, 35, 313 Chandler Street, Inverness was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said he took a pair of shoes valued at $17, put them on and walked out of the store.
On Monday at 3:24 p.m., Javias Rankin, 33, 703 Tim Jones Highway, Cleveland was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Walmart. He reportedly stole a black cobra ESR 755 radar/laser police detector valued at $79, a hitch ball valued at $7, a pen clip valued at $3, stone tile valued at $99 and other merchandise valued at $22.
On Thursday at 4:02 a.m., Willie Johnson, 74, 221 South Davis Circle was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. Also arrested was Eddie Ivory, 57, 118 North Davis Circle. He was charged with burglary of a non-dwelling after a South Davis Circle woman said someone was taking an Artic King air conditioner out of her storage window.
On Thursday at 4:42 p.m., Adam Cole Harper, 29, 23 Stanton Road was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct—failure to comply with police, careless driving and public profanity after police spotted him traveling east on French Road at a high rate of speed in a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe.
On June 5 at 10:30 a.m., Tony Davis, 23, 900 Oscar Giles Apartment, H-1 was arrested at municipal court and charged with false identification after he tried to show the court a false insurance card.
On Tuesday evening, Travious Hawthrone, 20, 704 Cox Street, turned himself into police and was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling. According to Sgt. Irish Johnson, on June 5 at 6 p.m., a witness said a man was shooting at a woman who was walking down Walker Street. The witness gave police a description of Hawthrone and the woman.
One of the bullets damaged the glass door and stuck in the frame of a house in the 600 block of the street. As of press time, Hawthrone had not yet had his initial appearance, so no bond has been set. There were no injuries reported. Police are still investigating and looking for the woman to see if additional charges need to be filed.

On June 5 at 12:56 p.m., a Butch Holeman Road, Sunflower woman said a tree limb fell and hit her 2010 Dodge Avenger damaging the roof and windshield while she was driving on Sunflower Avenue near Gresham Street.
On Friday at 10:15 a.m., a North Davis Circle woman said she was being harassed over the telephone by a family member, a Birdsong Street woman.
On Friday at 1:18 p.m., a Walker Street woman said someone vandalized her 2004 Chrysler.
On Saturday at 3:48 p.m., a Sixth Street, Leland woman said that between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., she noticed damage to her 2016 Nissan.
On Monday at 10:39 a.m., an Airport Road woman said a 21-year-old Gholston Avenue, Inverness man damaged her dining room chair valued at $75, a 32-inch Vizio TV valued at $300 and a table lamp valued at $50.
On June 6 at 9:46 a.m., an Ethel Waters Drive man said that an Inverness man threatened to hurt him.
On June 5 at 7:48 a.m., a West Augusta Street man said someone stole his Tannehill Industries truck from his home at 5 a.m. The 2007 Dodge was found and returned to the owner.
On June 5 at 2:08 p.m., an Airport Road woman said her ex-boyfriend, a 31-year-old Church Street man, hit her on the left side of her face with a handgun and she wants to file charges.
On Friday at 6:32 p.m., a Campbell Drive man said someone stole an air conditioning unit valued at $9,850, out of the back of the Shell gas station on U.S. 82.
On Tuesday at 2:37 a.m., a Kinlock Road woman said a 30-year-old Lincoln Street man broke a window and came into her home and assaulted her. A Somerton Court, Powder Springs, Georgia woman and a Windage Drive, Marietta, Georgia woman are reportedly witnesses and a gold Apple iPhone valued at $300 is listed as stolen.
On Saturday at 6:23 p.m., an Airport Road man said someone kicked his front window and window panel out of his home.
On June 6 at 2:55 p.m., a Patricia Drive woman said a Customized Distribution delivery truck damaged the left side of her 2001 Chevrolet.
On June 6 at 5:50 p.m., a Pond Street Sunflower man said a 35-year-old Beaverdam Road man ran outside naked towards an 11-year-old East Gresham Street girl.
On Monday at 12:38 p.m., a Hood Street woman said someone broke the window out of her 2005 Isuzu Ascender.
On June 6 at 1:26 p.m., a Beaverdam Road man said a 37-year-old Pine Street, Moorhead man, who rented his building, damaged his vent-a-hood valued at $1,400.
On Friday at 7:33 a.m., a Kim Herman Street woman said someone stole her orange and black push lawn mower.
On Friday at 5:28 p.m. a Double Quick employee said that a man in a 2014 Mercedes B drove away from the U.S. 82 / MS 448 location without paying for $30 worth of gas.
On June 5 at 12:34 p.m., a Grove Park Drive man said someone stole his black SCCY Cpx-2 9mm handgun, valued at $425, from his vehicle.
On Thursday at 11:24 a.m., a Love's Truck Stop employee said a 28-year-old Airport Road man, who is a former employee of Love's, came into the store and walked out with several items totaling $15, without paying for them.
On June 5 at 2:54 p.m., a Martin Luther King Drive woman said someone took her cell phone service card and phone case off of her phone.
On Thursday at 6:48 p.m., a Porter Drive man reported damage to the window on his 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. Police spoke to a man at Four Lane Liquor store and he said that a 51-year-old Airport Road man, an employee, was weedeating at the store and a rock may have accidentally come from underneath the weedeater and hit the window on the man's truck.
On June 5 at 11:30 a.m., a First Avenue woman said that her ex-boyfriend, a 23-year-old Stockyard Road, Sunflower man, stole some of her checks while he was visiting her.

On Thursday at 11:49 a.m., Lamarquis Deshawn Minton, 25, 725 Hoover St., was arrested and charged with probation violation.
On Thursday at 12:36 p.m., Sherman Wade, 39, 624 Oak St., was arrested and charged with contempt of court for failure to comply with court-ordered support.
