Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Sunday at 3:21 a.m., three men were arrested and charged after officers were called to the Double Quick on U.S. 82 and Catchings about crowd control. Joe Frazier Levy Jr., 25, of 306 Jeff Davis Ave., Greenwood was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct—failure to comply with police and simple assault on a police officer. Alexander Stewart Jr., 21, of 124 Torino Drive was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon. Peiorion Juanya Caston 22, of 1103 Kinlock Road/ 1141 Branch St., Memphis was arrested and charged with contempt of Municipal Court (according to the SCSD booking report). The report stated that a citation was going to be written for loitering, but the driver of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler involved would not comply with officers and all three ended up being arrested. Officers reportedly seized 20 Winchester 5.56 mm full metal jacket rounds, 32 American Eagle 5.56 X 45mm rounds, 9 other shell casings, one silver and one black handgun magazine, a black .40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun and a black .40 caliber Taurus handgun.
On Monday at 9:21 p.m., Rashaun D. Williams 19, Threadwell Road of Birmingham, Alabama was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said he stole a $3 Powerade energy drink, $3 worth of cold cuts and a $1 pack of donut sticks.
On Friday at 6:09 p.m., Eugene Mitchell McShane 43, of Janet Davis Circle was arrested and charged with shoplifting, trespassing after notice of non-permission, resisting arrest and possession of paraphernalia after a Walmart employee said he was shoplifting and stole a $14 chuck roast, a $10 pack of T-bone steaks, four packs of ribeye steaks valued at $75, a $2 loaf of Wonder bread, a $21 pair of pants, a $19 pair of Wrangler jeans, a $15 pack of t-shirts, $9 worth of men’s socks and $13 worth of men’s underwear. And after a brief struggle, officers also seized a glass tube with steel wool inside of it with black rubber.

On Thursday at 6:19 p.m., a South Elmwood Circle woman said a 31-year-old Pine Drive, Winona man was harassing her.
On Friday at 6:45 p.m., a 66-year-old Quick Circle man said someone broke into his house in the 700 block of Coolidge Street and stole a $200 air conditioner.
On May 21 at 4:47 p.m., a 20-year-old Seymour Drive woman said a South Carolina woman threatened her.
On Thursday at 7:34 p.m., a 25-year-old Walker Street woman said a 19-year-old West Gresham Street woman was harassing her on Facebook.
On Monday at 12:48 p.m., a Double Quick employee said a 43-year-old Janet Davis Circle man stole $30 worth of Corona Extra beer and nine cans of Chicken of the Sea sardines valued at $16.
On May 17 at 1:33 p.m., a 43-year-old South Southwest Plaza man, driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am and a 61-year-old Downing Drive, Greenwood man, driving a 2016 Dodge Ram ProMaster cargo van were involved in an accident on U.S. 82 near East Elmwood Circle.
The driver of the cargo van said he was headed west in the far right lane when the Grand Am, which was headed east, came across the left lane into his lane and hit him. He said the vehicles in the left lane had stopped, but he could not see so he continued on. The Grand Am's driver and passengers said the people traveling west in the left lane had stopped to let him cross and that's when he hit the cargo van. A passenger in the car complained of leg pain so MedStat was called. The driver of the Grand Am also reportedly did not have a driver's license or proof of insurance and was issued a citation for each cause and the Grand Am had to be towed.
On Sunday at 1:36 a.m., a 66-year-old Quick Circle man was called upon to secure a window at his house in the 700 block of Coolidge Street after an alarm alerted officers and they found that the bolts on the steel security bars had been broken and the bars had been pried up and the window raised to get entry. No item was reported taken at the time of the report.
On May 21 at 10:07 a.m., a 37-year-old West Herman Johnson Street woman said someone has stolen her identity.
On Friday at 1:22 p.m., a 58-year-old Anne Drive In Road, Leland man said while he was mowing one of his lots near Augusta and Marie streets the tire on the mower hit a guyed wire on a power pole and caused the wire to hit a 2007 GMC Yukon owned by a 44-year-old Eastmoor Circle, Moorhead woman.
On May 21 at 4:20 a.m., a Love's Truck Stop employee said a 43-year-old Janet Davis Circle man came into the store and stole a $50 box of Snickers candy and a $50 box of Reese's candy.
On Saturday at 12:18 p.m., a 69- year-old Westside Avenue woman said someone stole $1,000 out of her purse at a garage sale in the 500 block of Marie Avenue.
On Thursday at 2:35 p.m., a 43-year-old Southland Street, Greenville man said someone damaged the left back door on his 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup while it was parked at the Dollar General warehouse.
On May 21 at 12:02 a.m., a Love’s Truck Stop employee said someone stole a pair of headphones.
On Thursday at 9:07 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 43-year-old Janet Davis Circle man came into the store and stole $76 worth of assorted merchandise and hid it in a gray plastic Walmart bag.
On Thursday at 3:49 p.m., a 28-year-old Westside Avenue woman said a 54-year-old Hanna Avenue man poured his drink on her and her child after she and the man got into a verbal argument in the 200 block of Church Street.
On May 22 at 6:08 p.m., a 36-year-old Mimosa Drive woman said someone damaged the driver side front door and tire on her 2011 Nissan Altima while it was parked at Delta Health Center.
On Sunday at 6:44 a.m., officers were called to an apartment building in the 500 block of East Gresham Street because a man and a woman were reportedly having a domestic dispute that involved a gun and shots fired. A Smith & Wesson 559 (9 mm) handgun was reportedly taken into evidence.
On Friday at 12:28 a.m., a Cleveland Street woman said someone broke into her 2011 Chevrolet Impala while it was parked in the 500 block of the street.
On May 14 at 9:01 p.m., a 19-year-old Filla Ridge Drive Garland, Texas woman and a 21-year-old Pecan Lake Drive, Memphis woman were listed as the victims and a 15-year-old Brantley Circle boy was listed as a suspect after officers were called to the Southgate area because several people were reportedly fighting.
On Thursday at 10:04 p.m., a 27-year-old B.B. King Road woman said a 19-year-old Coates Street woman broke the back window out of her 2009 Chevrolet Malibu.
On Sunday at 4:25 p.m., someone said they found a black and green Surge race team bicycle in the 300 block of Hannah Avenue.
On May 22 at 9:01 p.m., a 25-year-old Davis Cove man said a 21-year-old Black Oak Drive, Walls, Mississippi woman assaulted him by scratching him in the upper body area near the Discount liquor store on Front Street Ext.
On May 22 at 1:26 a.m., a 16-year-old Walker Street boy said someone assaulted him in the 700 block of Hoover Street.
On Saturday at 3:51 p.m., a 39-year-old Warfield Avenue, Baton Rouge woman, driving a Chevrolet Traverse and a 30-year-old Romine Morgan Road, Sunflower man, driving a 2001 Ford Pickup, were involved in an accident on Front Street Ext., near Westside Avenue. No injuries were reported.
On May 21 at 8:47 p.m., a 65-year-old Chapman Street man said some boys in a white Chevrolet Tahoe rode by his house at least three times yelling out obscene comments. He was able to give the officers the tag number and officers called the owner, who was the parents of the fifteen-year-old driver, a Cardinal Circle boy. Three other boys were also listed as suspects.
On May 22 at 10:53 a.m., a 72-year-old Jordan Drive woman said someone tried to use a clothes hanger to get into the back door of her home.
On Thursday at 7:55 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 17-year-old Lee Street boy stole a $16 pair of slip-on shoes.
On May 22 at 9:02 p.m., a 21-year-old Black Oak Drive, Walls, Mississippi woman said a 25-year-old Davis Cove man assaulted her near Front Street by hitting her several times.
On Thursday at 5:41 p.m., a 74-year-old Lucille Street man said someone broke into his storage room and stole a $300 Stihl string trimmer.

On May 21 at 3:30 p.m., Timothy D. Shaw 39, 724 Elma Nash Boulevard, Ruleville was arrested and charged with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
On May 21 at 5:04 p.m., Danny Glenn Horne 30, 441 Shelby Drive, Drew was arrested and charged with grand larceny ($1,000 or more) and felon in possession of a firearm.
On May 21 at 6:19 p.m., Michael Thomas 19, 810 Maple St., Moorhead was arrested and charged with malicious mischief.
On May 21 at 10:40 p.m., Dianne Carter 51, 411 Mimosa Drive was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.
On May 22 at 12:04 p.m., Derrick McClain Jr., 23, 11 South Railroad Ave., Sunflower was arrested and charged with displaying a firearm and bribery to influence action.
On Thursday at 10:40 a.m., Kelvin Kendell Franklin 29, 302 Slim St., was arrested and charged with robbery and bond jumping.
On Friday at 3:17 a.m., Oscar LaFloyd Harvey 49, 600 Mill St., was arrested and charged with contempt of Municipal Court.
On Saturday at 7:59 p.m., Jerry Lee Lewis 41, 221 Railroad Ave., Sunflower was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.
On Monday at 4:37 p.m., Shaquela Nicola Robinson 30, 505 Coates St., was arrested and charged with contempt of Municipal Court.
