Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Nov. 6, Lamon Cooper, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (less than .28 grams), and trespassing after notice of non-permission.
On Nov. 14, Aaliyah Thomas, 18, was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense). At 2:05 p.m., a Walmart employee said she was shoplifting and allegedly stole a red and black hair dryer, a pack of extra-long sunflower seeds, a bag of medium size cooked shrimp, Minute Maid tropical fruit punch, a loaf of Sara Lee bread, a pack of Farm Rich cheese sticks and a Garnier Flat Iron Perfector.
On Nov. 15, Johnny Alexander, 41, 1101 Bates Street was arrested and charged with possession of paraphernalia and shoplifting (second offense). At 9:42 a.m., a Walmart employee said he was shoplifting.
On Nov. 15, Kelvin Carpenter, 35, was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense).
On Nov. 15, Kevin J. Cartlidge, 38, 204 Westside Ave., was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. At 3:03 p.m., Cartlidge was allegedly a back-seat passenger in his red 2016 Lincoln Town Car when police made a routine traffic stop for an expired tag near US 82 and MS 448. Officers found marijuana near the console in a cigar pack after he gave them permission to search the car and told them beforehand where it was. It was tested, and he was arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana.
On Nov. 15, Demetrius Sibley, 28, was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) and trespassing after notice of non-permission.
On Saturday, Kenya Hodges, 25, 305 Birch Street was arrested and charged with theft ($500 or more). At 4:29 a.m., a 60-year-old Fountain Street man said she took his black wallet with assorted ID cards, a .22 Magnum revolver, $2,800 in cash, a Heritage Rough Rider .22 caliber pistol with a wooden handle and some Super X .22 caliber live rounds and spent rounds.

On Thursday at 2:17 p.m., a 41-year-old East Washington Street, Greenwood woman said a 29-year-old Wiggins Road woman came to Carver Elementary School and threatened her and made remarks on social media.
On Nov. 14 at 7:02 a.m., a City of Indianola department head said another city worker told her that someone had broken into the Bethune Center and stole a 55-inch Sanyo TV, a HP laptop, a bullhorn and two basketballs. Plus, a set of white blinds and a window were destroyed.
On Friday at 10:17 p.m., a 26-year-old Wiggins Road man was allegedly disturbing the peace in the 600 block of Curtis Street and trying to drive away while under the influence. The man said his uncle hit him, but would not say which uncle hit him.
On Monday at 1:34 a.m., two Roosevelt Street residents said a 2008 Chrysler 300, owned by a 30-year-old Fugitt Circle woman was maliciously damaged, the driver’s side outside mirror is listed as damaged along with the driver’s side front and back windows. A Chevrolet TrailBlazer is also listed on the report.
On Monday at 5:15 a.m., a 50-year-old Hannah Street man said a 22-year-old Chandler Street woman and a 32-year-old Beale Street man assaulted him and took $500 cash out of his back pants pocket. The report also lists a black cell phone as stolen.
On Saturday at 11:40 a.m., an Ingram Street, Moorhead woman said someone took her clothes out of the dryer at the 82 Wash-A-Mat.
On Nov. 15 at 12:58 a.m., police saw a man wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a white bandana across his face come out of a broken window at the Double Quick store on B.B. King Road, run behind the business and jump the fence.
On Nov. 15 at 2:03 p.m., a 57-year-old Airport Road man was issued a citation for simple possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after police stopped to assist him because his 1998 Cherokee was disabled at the intersection of US 82 and MS 448, they found 1.2 grams of marijuana, one gram marijuana blunt and an un-sweet Swisher cigarillos in the center console.
On Sunday at 8:49 a.m., a Double Quick employee said a 52-year old B.B. King Road man was on the store's property even though he has been told to stay away.
On Thursday at 5:07 p.m., a Fred's Dollar Store employee said a 52-year-old Hannah Street man came into the store and took several items without paying for them.
On Nov. 14 at 8:56 p.m., a Westside Avenue woman said a 30-year-old North Davis Circle woman tried to damage her vehicle and made threats to her.
On Nov. 15 at 7:41 p.m., a Brothers Discount store employee said someone came into the store and stole clothing.
On Friday at 4:35 p.m., an Indianola Family Medical Clinic employee said when she went out the back door she noticed that the southside light was out and she was told by the power company that the light had several bullet holes.
On Monday at 5:08 a.m., a 24-year-old Mimosa Drive man and a 28-year-old Mimosa Drive man said someone damaged the tires on their 2004 Chevrolet and 2004 Pontiac.
On Nov. 16 at 2:38 p.m., a 51-year-old Broadmoor Drive man said someone broke into his home and took food out of his freezer, including two packs of smoked neck bones, a pack of smoked sausage, a pack of chicken legs, another pack of meat and some bread.
On Saturday at 12:35 a.m., a 56-year-old Westside Avenue man said a 49-year-old Moody Street man threatened him with a pistol.
One Saturday at 3:38 a.m., a 34-year-old Hough Street man and a 27-year-old Hough Street woman said someone shot into their home and vehicle, damaging a closet door and wall and breaking the passenger side back window out of his 2006 Chevrolet Truck.
On Saturday at 2:56 p.m., a 33-year-old Jeff Davis Street woman said a 35-year-old Jefferson Davis Street man damaged a mirror and some clothes in her home.
On Friday at 9 a.m., a 22-year-old French Road woman and a 33-year-old French Road woman were involved in a domestic dispute.
On Nov. 15 at 10:32 p.m., a 45-year-old man said someone assaulted him and tried to rob him in the 200 block of Roosevelt Street.
On Nov. 15 at 3:42 a.m., police heard a burglar alarm going off while on patrol and found that it was coming from Delta Diamonds, but the owner said nothing was taken.
On Thursday at 8:19 p.m., a 58-year-old Lincoln Avenue woman said a 51-year-old Broadmoor Street man was making threats to her, by telephone.
On Wednesday at 2:08 p.m., while on patrol, a 29-year old West Percy Street man was pulled over near Faisonia Avenue after police saw him swerve several times and then stop. The man made a left turn onto Sunflower Avenue and was pulled over on Baker Street and when police approached his car they smelled a strong odor of marijuana, so they searched the car and found a small amount of marijuana in the center cupholder of his 2009 Ford Crown Victoria.
