Indianola police made the following arrests,
On Monday at 10:19 a.m., Sheldrick Newson, 35, 497 Old Highway 61, Shaw was arrested and charged with shoplifting (first offense) after Walmart employees allegedly caught him trying to leave the store without paying for $242 worth of various meat items.

On Sunday at 10:06 p.m., a Gillespie Drive man said his black Berson .380 handgun was missing and he doesn't remember where he had it last.
On Monday at 4:40 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 36-year-old Delta Blues Street man and another man walked out of the store without paying for $83.16 worth of merchandise.
On Friday at 8:16 p.m., a Kinlock Road woman said she hit an open manhole while driving her 2007 Chevrolet Impala in the 400 block of Hannah Street and caused damage to the rear tire and back end of the vehicle.
On September 4 at 5:53 p.m., a B.B. King Road man said someone broke into his house in the 400 block of Curtis Street.
On Sunday at 4:08 p.m., a Scott Petroleum employee said a woman driving a white SUV pumped $42.62 worth of gas and left without paying for it.
On September 5 at 10:41 a.m., a Mimosa Drive woman said a 43-year-old Mimosa Drive woman had been staying with her, but moved out three days earlier then came back to the house and took a deep freezer without her permission.
On Sunday at 10:38 p.m., a J-Mack’s Grocery employee said a 33-year-old Gillespie Drive man stole a $7 t-shirt from the store.
On September 1 at 7:30 p.m., a Whittington Drive man was allegedly shot in the 100 block of Curtis Street by a 39-year-old Birdsong Street man who ran north away from J-Mack’s after the shooting. The Whittington Drive man was taken to Jackson for treatment. Windows and doors were damaged on a 2005 Dodge GCS and a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban during the incident and evidence was collected.
On September 4 at 7:04 p.m., a Spoonbill Court man said someone broke the window out of his home and stole seven bottles of vodka and $100 cash.
On Saturday at 8:24 a.m., a Chandler Street man said someone broke into his home, but nothing appeared to be taken.
On Tuesday at 8:35 a.m., a Gardner Street woman said a 38-year-old Augusta Street woman was trespassing on her property after notice of non-permission.
On September 5 at 4:17 p.m., a Stonewall Drive man said someone stole his red gas jug valued the $20
On September 5 at 3:21 p.m., a Clover Drive man said someone came onto his property on U.S. 49 and stole a 2003 Wilson Hopper trailer valued at $10,000.
On Saturday at 6:11 p.m., an Airport Road woman said someone hit and damaged the rear driver side bumper on her 2016 Honda Accord while it was parked on the Greater New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. parking lot.
On September 5 at 11:50 a.m., a B.B. King Road man said someone broke into his home and stole a 36-in TV valued at $200.
On Thursday at 8:04 a.m., a Cleveland Street woman said someone took the lugs off of the driver side front and back tires on her Nissan.
On Friday at 10:53 a.m., a Walker Street man said a 32-year-old Maybelle Street woman cut the tires on his black Dodge Challenger and scratched it up at the Love’s Truck Stop.
On September 4 at 8:59 a.m., a Kinlock Road woman said a 34-year-old Faison Avenue man was harassing and threatening her.
On September 5 at 2:18 p.m., someone said they were traveling east on U.S. 82 and someone in another vehicle was shooting at them. A 25-year-old Mitchell Road, Shaw man, a 25-year-old Mark Road, Leland man, and a 30-year-old Wiggins Road man are listed as suspects. Marijuana was also reportedly seized from two of the suspects and a 2009 Hyundai Sonata and a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu were impounded.
On Thursday at 9:45 a.m., a Coolidge Street man said someone broke into his Dodge pickup and stole his radio plus some orange juice that was in a cooler on the back of the truck.
On Friday at 1:48 a.m., a Carver Street woman, who was at J-Mack’s Grocery, said her husband, a 34-year-old Carver Street man, hit her two or three times on the left side of her face, which caused swelling.
On Sunday at 11:44 a.m., a Walmart employee said someone was shoplifting and stole $28 worth of ribeye steaks, and a $4 Fruit of the Loom t-shirt.
On Friday at 9:14 a.m., a Sunflower Avenue man said someone stole his Roadmaster Granite Rock bicycle worth $100 and a Huffy Nighthawk bicycle worth $100.
On Friday at 7:56 p.m., a Birdsong Street woman said someone stole her purse.
On Monday at 3:08 p.m., a Cleveland Street woman said that a 31-year-old Maybelle Street woman came to her job on Saturday even though a judge ordered the woman not to come within 100 yards of her home or place of employment.
On September 4 at 6:32 a.m., an East Gresham Street woman said someone broke into her home and stole 30 hydrocodone pills, 30 Norco tablets, 30 klonopin tablets, 30 Ambien tablets, her debit card and a brown leather purse.

On September 4 at 6:10 p.m., David Johnson 47, 1521 Garrison St., Cleveland was arrested and charged with introducing contraband into a correctional facility.
On September 5 at 1:12 p.m., Alexis Spencer 34, 310 1/2 Church St., was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules.
On September 5 at 3:53 p.m., a minor, 900 Airport Road, Apt. F-3 was arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling and contempt of court.
On September 5 at 3:30 p.m., Brandon Earvin 30, 215 Wiggins Road, Apt. 3 was arrested and charged with reckless driving, no proof of liability insurance, no/expired driver's license, and failure to yield to an authorized emergency vehicle.
On September 5 at 4:03 p.m., Keona Brand 34, 405 Oak St., Ruleville was arrested and charged with contempt of municipal court.
On September 5 at 4:47 p.m., Casey James Triplett 25, 54 Mitchell Road, Shaw was arrested and charged with reckless driving, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, expired tag, failure to yield to authorized emergency vehicle and disobeying traffic control devices.
On Friday at 9:25 a.m., Amanda Carol Worley 42, 105 Donahoe Road was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
On September 5 at 8:09 p.m., Robert Worley II 32, 3 Pine Circle was arrested and charged with domestic violence with injuries (first offense).
On Friday at 1:10 p.m., Bobbie Fleming 69, 1314 B.B. King Road was arrested and charged with embezzlement.
On Saturday at 3:02 a.m., Raphael Smith 28, 1203 Roy St., Moorhead was arrested and charged with contempt of court for failure to appear.
