On Monday at 7:23 p.m., a Walmart employee said she saw an East Ollie Circle, Greenville man go through the self-checkout line and scan some items but did not scan others. He then reportedly placed all of the items in a Walmart bag and left the store. She said the man stole an assortment of grocery items valued at over $56.
On Monday at 5:05 p.m., a Lucille Street woman said a Porter Drive man is constantly trespassing on her property. The woman said she has been having problems with the man and his brother since she moved into her house in 2017 because the man contends that he owned the lot and she had no right to build a house on the property because he had been cutting the lot. She said he continually drives across her lot going to and fro to Fourth Avenue even though she has repeatedly told him she bought the property and she plans to file charges against him.
On Sunday at 7:42 p.m., an Airport Road woman, driving a 2010 Mercedes, said her niece, a Spoonbill Court woman, driving a 2013 Nissan, backed into her car. The niece said she mistakenly hit the car when she was backing out of her driveway. No damage or injuries were reported.
On Sunday at 4:11 p.m., a Janet Davis Circle man said a Delta Blues Street woman, who is the mother of his child, came to his residence and tried to forcefully take their son from the house. He said an argument had taken place earlier at the Dollar Tree store and the woman got upset and left the child with him at the store. Officers noticed scratches on both the man and the woman, but neither wanted to file charges.
On Sunday at 7:35 a.m., a Herman Johnson Street woman said that when she walked outside of her home around 7 a.m., she saw that someone had damaged her brick mailbox and it was lying in her driveway. A short time later, someone else reported damage to some hedges and stones in a yard in the 400 block of B.B. King Road. Officers reviewed video footage, but were unable to tell if the same car was involved in both incidents.
On Sunday at 7:09 a.m., someone said a woman was walking in the 300 block of Hannah Avenue bleeding profusely from the left side of her head. Officers stopped the woman and asked what happened, but she did not say and told the officers that she was going to take her dog home and lock it up. Reportedly, the woman refused to give officers any information about who harmed her and initially declined any medical attention. However, she later changed her mind about medical treatment and was taken to the South Sunflower County Hospital with injuries to her left ear and the back of her head.
On Saturday at 1:15 p.m., a Park Avenue man said one of his employees called him around 12:30 p.m., and told him that the office door at Family Dental Care had been kicked in. He said nothing was taken even though there was a moneybox containing cash on a desk and offices had been disturbed.
On Saturday at 12:09 a.m., a North Elmwood Circle man said that as he was driving down the street a 6-foot tall, thin man, wearing a red bandana on his face, ran out into the street and fired two shots at him, hitting the driver side window of his 2016 Chevrolet Impala, before running off. Another woman in the 700 block of the street had reported hearing gunshots just before the man called and a 9 mm shell casing was found near the scene.
On Thursday at 3:01 p.m., a Faisonia Avenue man said someone stole a $246 lawn mower from his house on August 26.
On Thursday at 8:01 a.m., a Linbar Street woman said she was informed that her wallet was found on the back of a vehicle at Shoppers Value Foods. The woman said the last time she saw her wallet it was in her Nissan Altima.
On Thursday at 6:41 a.m., a Hanna Avenue woman said someone went into her 2008 GMC Yukon and stole a red and black bag that contained some medicine and work folders with documents in them. She said the bag was on the driver’s side back seat with the door unlocked. She stated that the vehicle was left unlocked because it has been broken into twice before and the windows were broken out each time. There was no evidence of any rambling done in the vehicle.
On September 11 at 4:01 p.m., a Faison Avenue man said someone broke into his father's house through a side door on September 6 and stole two 35-inch televisions, but he has been too busy to report it.
On September 11 at 1:27 p.m., a Birdsong Street woman said she received information on September 5 from a company that stated that she owes them $550 for a loan. The woman said that she has never taken out a loan with that company and when she asked for more information the company sent her documentation that said her balance is $631.37.
On September 10 at 11:44 p.m., a Cleveland Street woman said someone stole the AC unit out of the living room window of a house that she is renting and in the process of moving into. Someone broke in by kicking in the back door.
On September 10 at 10:35 a.m., an Adair Street woman said a Johnny Russell Street, Moorhead woman was harassing her child at school.
On September 10 at 5:41 a.m., a Battle Street woman said while she was out walking her dog she went by her home that had recently received damage from a fire and noticed that all three of her window AC units were missing. In addition, she was later informed by her brother that he was also missing a $400 MK watch, a $500 Apple watch, a $300 Fossil watch and six long-sleeved Polo shirts valued at $97 each.

On September 11 at 8:58 a.m., Dominique Floyd, 31, 606 Roosevelt St., was arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling.
On Friday at 2:30 p.m., Jarrius Carter, 23, 222 South Cliff Finch St., Sunflower was arrested and charged with simple assault.
On Friday at 2:30 p.m., Sabrina Dixon, 18, 107 South Wilson St., Sunflower was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct—failure to obey officers and resisting arrest.
On Friday at 5 p.m., Willie Frank Roscoe, 35, 936 Belleview Drive was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules.
On Friday at 5:35 p.m., Richard O'Neal, 27, 214 Patricia Drive was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules.
On Sunday at 4:15 am, Tricia Ann Phillips, 26, 215 Church St., was arrested and charged with simple assault—bodily injury.
On Monday at 12:18 a.m., Diane Carter, 51, 411 Mimosa Drive was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.

On Tuesday at 9:38 a.m., Christopher Tanner, 44, 614 Oak St., was arrested and charged with no/expired driver's license.
