Indianola’s newest antiques store is open for business.
George and Barbara Roberson have opened Antiques and This & That at the Lovelace Shopping Center.
Barbara, a retired nurse, said she and her husband have been collecting antique pieces for some time, and as they began their retirement years, they wanted to do something that got them out of the house everyday.
“We’re both retired, and you get to where all you’re doing is watching TV,” Barbara Roberson said.
The store, located at 612 North Sunflower Ave., Suite 20, is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on weekdays.
Some items in the store go all the way back to the 19th Century and go up through the 20th Century, including dining room sets, desks, chairs, sitting furniture and artwork.
