Anyone interested in gaining leadership skills, learning about the life and times of B. B. King and touring the Delta, then the B.B. King Bridge Building Ambassadors Youth Leadership Program may be the ticket.

The youth leadership program, which is open to 9-12 graders, is dedicated to celebrating the life and music of B. B. King as his expressed wish that education and community outreach be at the heart of the program’s mission.

The goal of the program is to provide Delta area youth with the opportunity to become actively involved in the museum and serves to build bridges in the community while preserving the rich cultural and musical heritage of the Mississippi Delta.

Applications for 2019-2020 class may be picked up from the local counselors’ offices in the area, or the B. B. King Museum from 10 a.m. until 4  p.m. daily.

Anyone with any questions can  call Ms. Hale at the B.B. King Museum at 662-887-9539 ext. 227

All applications are due by Friday, September 13, 2019.
