On Wednesday, Indianola police arrested Jeremy Bradford 32, 623 Garrard Road and Alexis Spencer 33, same address and charged both with possession of crack cocaine with intend to distribute. Spencer is also charged with simple possession of marijuana.
Bradford’s charges will receive a firearm enhancement and the drug charges will also be enhanced because illegal substances were seized within 1,500 feet of a school and a church according to Investigator Standrick Hodges.
Police initiated the “no knock” warrant around 4:30 a.m. and collected 22 grams of crack cocaine, 11 grams of powder cocaine, a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, two handguns and a high power assault rifle.
Hodges said Bradford fired a shot but there was no evidence that it was an attempted assault on the officers, so no charges were filed with regards to that.
Bradford is a convicted felon who has had multiple run-ins with law enforcement, most recently was in October 2016 when U.S. Marshals allegedly caught him flushing a white powder down the toilet in the master bathroom at his Garrard Road home.
