Want to enjoy a night with the King of Rock N Roll and donate to a great cause?
Join Joe Forrester, performing as Elvis Presley, at the B.B. King Museum on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $15 per person and all funds go toward the purchase of wreaths for the Wreaths Across America campaign that will culminate with the laying of wreaths on fallen soldiers’ graves on December 14.
National Wreaths Across America Day was founded to honor those who died for America’s freedoms.
The organization has laid over 1 million wreaths in cemeteries across the country.
The program also honors those who currently serve in the armed forces.
The theme this year is “Be Their Witness.”
Forrester, who moved to Indianola last August to work for Delta Pride, has long performed Elvis tunes on stage. Earlier this year, he performed twice at the Brindley Theater, and he has crooned at multiple establishments in the area, including the Blue Biscuit.
