An Indianola business has purchased the former Fred’s store building along U.S. 82.
It was confirmed to The E-T this week that 82 Outlet closed on the property.
Fred’s announced it would be closing the store in the summer of 2019.
The building has remained empty since that time.
The new owner is in the early stages of planning, and there are no details on the future of the 25,000-square-foot building.
82 Outlet has been a staple along Indianola’s main thoroughfare for years and offers a variety of household items, including furniture, appliances, décor and much more.
