The International Broadcasters’ IdeaBank conference was held in the Delta last week and the group visited the B. B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center and held their banquet in the Barksdale Gin.
Indianola Mayor Steve Rosenthal visited the collection of radio station owners and managers on Monday and presented Delta Radio LLC, President/CEO, Larry Fuss and WNLA radio station manager Regina Hawkins with a proclamation declaring May 13 as WNLA Radio Day.
The International Broadcasters’ IdeaBank is an exclusive group of accomplished commercial radio broadcasters and is comprised of members from across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, who engage in the confidential exchange of innovative ideas.
The IdeaBank limits its membership to 100 companies with the requirement that those operations be non-competitive with one another and the current membership boasts over 450 radio stations.
