The Lost Pizza Company in partnership with Agape North, a private-label clothing company, donated dozens of custom-printed t-shirts to Lockard Elementary School students on Monday.
Principal Daphne Heflin accepted the gift from Cheryl Nichols, manager, Lost Pizza in Indianola. The pizza chain opened its first store in 2007 and now has 13 locations across Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas, with new locations expected to open soon.
Agape North is a Memphis-based custom clothing company with a giving model built in. On the organization’s website, Joe Williams, founder and president said Agape North makes it easy for their partners to give and make an impact. “Many of our clients want to give back and partner with our community, but they just don’t know how,” he said, “We invite them to be a part of the giving process, meet the students, and plug into the community.”
To date, Agape North reportedly has more than 350 clients, 150 partner schools, and over 100,000 donated shirts.
