The 2019-2020 Mid-Delta Arts Association brochures are in the mail.
MDAA President Mary Ruth Brindley said, “We put the new brochures in the mail this week and you will want to check out the great shows we have planned for the next season.”
The first show for the new year is Ring of Fire, The music of Johnny Cash.
The show has been cast and you can look forward to a unique musical about “love and faith.” Production dates are October 17-19 at 7 pm and a Sunday matinee, October 20 at 2 pm.
Ring in the holiday season with The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, directed by Kathryn Ledbetter and Valerie Morgan.
The hilarious Christmas story is one for all ages.
You will want to bring your children and enjoy a night of family fun.
To Kill a Mockingbird will hit the stage in the spring. The stage presentation is adapted from the Pulitzer Prize novel and will be directed by Mary Ruth Brindley and Leanne Silverblatt.
Rounding out the season is The Sound of Music, directed by Eddie Donahoe. The Rogers and Hammerstein collaboration is a stage classic and all-time favorite of theater audiences.
The Patron’s membership drive starts the minute you receive your 2019-2020 brochure.

What does it mean to be a MDAA Patron?
You get advanced seat selection and the satisfaction of being a part of something wonderful in our community. And all memberships are tax-deductible.
For more than 40 years the MDAA has brought to Delta area audiences live, wholesome entertainment of every genre.
A single Patron membership is $ 60 and gives you one ticket for each show. A double Patron membership is $120 and provides two tickets for each show.
A Sponsor gets four tickets for each show and is $300. Sign up and be a Benefactor for $420 and you will get six tickets per show.
A Friend of the Arts is $600 and you receive eight tickets to enjoy for each show.
Golden patron membership is $1,200 and entitles you to 10 tickets for each show.
So check your mail box this week and take a look at the versatile shows for the 2019-20 season.
