Mississippi Delta Community College will soon be looking for its ninth president.
MDCC President Larry Nabors announced to faculty and staff this week that he plans to retire, effective June 30, 2018.
Nabors, who was educated and has also spent the majority of his academic career in Mississippi, became MDCC’s eighth president in 2013.
Nabors told the Moorhead-based college’s employees on Tuesday that he and his wife Tonya have cherished their time with the college and its people.
MDCC has not announced plans for the search for Nabors’ replacement.
