The Sunflower County Consolidated School District isn’t the only educational institution that will be offering a hybrid educational model this fall.
Mississippi Delta Community College says it will be offering traditional classroom instruction, as well as hybrid and online formats, “in accordance with CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines.”
“Because of the fluidity of the situation, MDCC instructors will be prepared to convert to an all online format if needed,” MDCC administrators said in a statement this week.
The Moorhead-based college also announced a series of safety measures that will be in place when school commences.
Faculty, staff and visitors will be required to wear a mask or face covering on campus.
All students and employees will be required to conduct a daily symptom check before arrival on campus.
“The daily symptom check and health screening will include signs and symptoms, reporting procedures and additional resources,” the school said.
Registration for the fall semester is still open.
