An after-hours visit to the Delta Health Clinic on West Washington Street in Moorhead resulted in some jail time for LaToby Williams, 36 of 509 East Washington St.
Police Chief Bobby Walker said Williams broke into the clinic through the back door of the facility early Tuesday morning and stole a 40-inch TV.
He was arrested later that day based on a tip given to police officers. He is currently in the Sunflower County jail charged with burglary of a commercial building. As of Wednesday morning, he had not yet gone before the judge.
In an unrelated case, Moorhead police confiscated some ecstasy pills and a stolen firearm believed to be a part of the stash of weapons stolen from the Mississippi Gun Supply store in Ruleville.
Officers stopped Marquavious Harris 26 of 47 Eastmoor Subdivision on Friday night for running a traffic light at Olive and Washington streets in Moorhead and discovered the pills and the weapon.
Harris was arrested and taken to the Sunflower County jail and charged with possession of a stolen firearm and illegal possession of a controlled substance.
