Brannon and Ann Shelby Walls are already the owners of three businesses in Indianola.
There’s The Perch Flowers & Gifts, Tin Can Shaved Ice and TurnRow Fitness, a CrossFit gym.
Add another business to the list.
The couple plans to open Nola Nutrition in mid February, bringing a new line of healthy shakes, teas and other products to U.S. 82. It will be located adjacent to The Perch.
“We had been seeing a lot on social media about nutrition clubs, and we have been looking for something to incorporate into the gym,” Brannon said.
The answer was right in Brannon’s hometown of Gluckstadt, where friends of the Walls’ own Stadt Nutrition.
“We talked to the owners there, and they got us on board,” Brannon said.
The main products at Nola Nutrition will be Meal Replacement Shakes and Loaded Teas, which come in a variety of flavors.
The shakes are low-carb, they have 24 grams of protein and are 200-250 calories, Ann Shelby said, and like the shakes, the teas are low in sugar, with only 24 calories.
In fact, the teas will have zero sugar and the shakes will have just 5 grams.
“The purpose of it is to be a meal replacement shake,” Ann Shelby said. “The teas are to take the place of your coffee.”
Ann Shelby said the tea will be sold in 32-ounce cups, which means they can last several hours.
Nola Nutrition will also offer Specialty Teas, which will include beauty boosters and collagen.
Ann Shelby said the price points for the Meal Replacement Shakes will be right in line with what a combo meal at a fast food restaurant would cost.
The meal replacement shakes will come in flavors like Butterfinger, Wedding Cake, Strawberry, White Chocolate Reese’s, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Caramel Cappouccino, Blueberry Cheesecake and more.
The Loaded Teas will come in flavors like Watermelon Jolly Rancher, Tranquility, Peach Passion, Captain America, Bahama Mama, Cucumber Watermelon and more.
The Specialty Teas include Pretty N Pink and Southern Belle.
The business will also offer a line of Healthy Deluxe Hot Chocolates and Teas.
Tin Can Shaved Ice will take up permanent residence next to Nola Nutrition.
