Two of Indianola’s most wanted are behind bars and Judge Kuykendall Murry has set their bond at $100,000 each.
Edward Terrell Clay Jr., 32 and 22-year-old Erica Hodges were being sought by police in connection with an alleged robbery and assault that took place on Nov. 20 in the 400 block of Hannah Street.
Hodges and Clay allegedly assaulted a 50-year-old man and took $500 cash out of his back pants pocket.
The report indicated the man was home sleeping when Hodges knocked on his door and asked to use the restroom, she then came and asked him for tissue but when she came back into the room Clay was in the house with her, even though the man is sure he locked his front door.
Hodges was apprehended on Nov. 22 after police received a tip from a concerned citizen and Clay was arrested on Monday after he and 15-year-old Rashaad Snipes were implicated in a strong-arm robbery in the Coolidge Street area.
Snipes is also in custody at the Sunflower County jail charged with armed robbery and his bond has also been set at $100,000.
Police Chief Edrick Hall said even though Snipes is only 15 he is being treated as an adult.
A 17-year-old Roosevelt Street boy and another person were also listed as suspects in that robbery, but no other information was available on them.
