South Delta Planning and Development District’s Area Agency on Aging will continue assisting Medicare recipients with insurance counseling from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily through December 6, according to a release from the organization.
South Delta PDD Executive Director Tommy Goodwin said that SDP&DD’s Area Agency on Aging and the Mississippi Department of Aging and Adult Services are providing the counseling free through the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).
Counselor Georgia Pitchford and Director Daryl Richards, along with various SDP&DD employees, will be at the locations listed below to assist Medicare participants search for the best options to save on drug costs and even help them enroll on-the-spot if they prefer.
