The Southern Debutante Assembly will present its 2017 honorees at its annual Presentation and White and Gold Ball, which will be held Dec. 29 at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood. The group of young ladies to be presented includes:
Georgia Cothern Gibson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Eugene Gibson Jr. of Jackson. Her grandparents are Mrs. John William McPherson of Indianola and the late Mr. McPherson and Mrs. Donald Bernard Bohn of Poolesville and the late Mr. Nelson Eugene Gibson of Brookhaven. A graduate of Jackson Academy in Jackson, she attends Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is a member of Chi Omega sorority. Mr. Gibson will present his daughter.
Brynden Belle Noble, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cole Noble of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wright O’Mara of Jackson and Mr. Richard Green Noble of Indianola and Dr. Susan Cole Noble of New Orleans. Miss Noble graduated from Jackson Academy in Jackson and attends the University of Mississippi in Oxford, where she is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Mr. Noble will present his daughter at the ball.
Melissa Logan Sones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mitchell Sones II of Grenada. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler Timbs Jr. of Moorhead and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mitchell Sones of Columbia. A graduate of Grenada High School, Miss Sones attends Mississippi State University in Starkville, where she is a member of Chi Omega sorority. Mr. Sones will present his daughter at the ball.
