The Sunflower County Veterans of the Civil Rights Movement returned to celebrate the 55th Anniversary of Freedom Summer in Sunflower County, Mississippi on October 3-4, 2019. They visited the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum which celebrates the Civil Rights Movement that they came to play a part. Included in this photo are the relatives of local people who played a part in the Civil Rights Movement. The civil rights reunion was hosted by the Sunflower County Civil Rights Organization.
