Planters Bank announced this week the recent election of Herron Wilson (Indianola) Lewis Poindexter (Inverness) and Freddie Jones (Inverness) to the Advisory Board for the Inverness branch.
Fred V. Jones III is a native of Inverness and a third generation farmer, a release from Planters said this week.
Freddie is a graduate of Indianola Academy and received his degree in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University in 1993.
He is an active member of First Baptist Church in Inverness, and he and his wife, Maggi, are the parents of two children, Camille and Clint.
Poindexter is a lifelong resident of Sunflower County and Inverness. Lewis is a graduate of Indianola Academy and attended college at Sewanee and later graduated from Mississippi State University.
He is currently Southeast regional general manager of Sanders, a division of Pinnacle Ag Holdings, headquartered in Loveland, Colo.
Lewis is married to Ruth Carmen Fisher of Indianola, and they have three children, Carmen Allen Poindexter, Emma Kate Morgan (Matt), and Scott Poindexter.
