North Sunflower Medical Center has named Brooks Rizzo as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Rizzo previously served as the hospital’s Chief Clinical Officer and Clinic Director, where she oversaw operations across the organization’s Rural Health Clinics and strengthened coordination between service lines. During her tenure, she has focused on improving patient care quality throughout Sunflower County.
In her new role as COO, Rizzo will be responsible for day-to-day hospital operations, strategic execution, and continued oversight of the medical center’s outpatient and clinic services. Hospital leadership said her familiarity with the community and understanding of rural health care challenges make her well-suited to guide the organization through its next phase of growth and operational stability.
“Brooks brings a strong work ethic, accountability, and a forward-thinking vision that aligns with our mission to provide accessible, high-quality care close to home,” said Daniel Ceja, CEO of North Sunflower Medical Center. “Under her operational leadership, we are confident the hospital will continue to strengthen services and expand its impact.”
Colleagues and staff are invited to congratulate Rizzo on her promotion and support her in her new leadership role.
