Jared Colter “Colt” Evans, 41, of Belzoni, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at South Sunflower County Hospital. Colt was born in Greenwood on Aug. 30, 1983, to Charles Marion “Chuck” Evans Jr. and Valarie French Evans. He married the love of his life, Emily Gullett, on February 14, 2014, and from that day on, the two were inseparable.
