Services for Albert “Yank” Jackson of Cleveland will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Saint James Missionary Baptist Church, Cleveland. Burial will follow at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Jackson, 88, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Cleveland.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland, which is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Perry Jackson will officiate at the services.
Mr. Jackson is survived by: four sons, James E. Walker, Albert F. Walker Jr, Charles Walker and Tyrone Walker; four daughters, Lethia A. Jackson-Hutton, Helen J. Jackson-Sampson, Betty R. Walker-Love and Reauthia M. Walker-Neal; three brothers, Jessie B. Jackson, Johnny Jackson and Sam Reynolds; two sisters, Mattie Jackson-Gordon and Bertha Jackson-Shelby; 32 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
