Services for Alyene Ellis Berryhill of Inverness will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Isola.
Mrs. Berryhill, 88, died Monday, August 14, 2017 at South Sunflower County Hospital.
Visitation will be today from 12:30 p.m.until service time at the church.
Burial will be in Belzoni Cemetery under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 31, 1939 in Humphreys County and was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Eli Ellis and Letha Haring Davis; her husband, Richard Berryhill; a daughter, Shirley Dianne Smith; and a grandson, Richard Neal Berryhill, Jr.
Mrs. Berryhill is survived by two children, Neal (Ann) Berryhill of Franklin, Tenn., and Toni Gary of Inverness; five grandchildren, Nikki (Tom) Roberson of Starkville, Addison (Irene) Hall of Flowood, Kris (Paul) Artman of Inverness, J. Gary of Inverness, and Wendy (Bill) Brewer of Lutz, Florida; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
