Services for Beatrice Townsend of Belzoni will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Belzoni.
Ms. Townsend, 87, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Belzoni.
The Rev. Andre Harris will officiate at the services.
Ms. Townsend is survived by one daughter, Willie S. Johnson of Belzoni; three sons, Bobby Coach and Robert (Hattie) Scott, both of Belzoni and Tommy Scott of Washington, D.C.; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
