Bobby Alford Hearn, 67, of Linn, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at his home.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland.
Celebration of Life services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Linn Baptist Church, with the Rev. Milton Burd officiating.
Interment followed in Linn Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bobby was born in Linn on Oct. 1, 1950, to Elmer Leroy Hearn and Virginia Laverne Stevens Hearn. On September 30, 1977, he married Deborah Dianne Garvin in Indianola. He worked for over twenty years as a manager at a local fish plant. Bobby enjoyed buying, selling, and trading items as well as fishing, but the one thing he enjoyed more than anything was hunting…it was his passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Leroy Hearn and Virginia Laverne Stevens Hearn; son, Steven Hearn; sisters, Frances Hearn Abney, Audrey Hearn Newton, and Annie Hearn Brown; and brothers, Calvin Hearn, Dennis Hearn, and Newman Hearn.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Deborah Garvin “Debbie” Hearn of Linn; children, Kathy Holmes (Mark) of Linn, Terrie McKnight (Tim) of Cleveland, Robert Hearn (Jodi) of Greenwood, and Derek Hearn of Linn; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Jennings of Gore Springs; brothers, Samuel Hearn (Betty) and Walter Hearn both of Linn; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tony Hearn, Dennis Hearn, Dewight Abney, James Hearn, Larry Hearn, and Samuel Hearn, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were William Hearn, Doug Hearn, Mike Abney, and Gerald Downs.
