Services for Bobby R. Matthews of New Orleans, formerly of Indianola, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Matthews, 63, died Wednesday, Jan 3, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Melvin Matthews will officiate at the services.
Mr. Matthews is survived by his wife, Mildred Perryman Matthews of New Orleans; one daughter, La Tressia M. (Charlie) Williams of New Orleans; two sons, Shadric (Laken) Matthews of New Orleans and Marco Davis of Indianola; two sisters, Bertha Dezell and Lola (Lamar) Gardner, both of Indianola; one brother, O.L. Matthews Jr. of Detroit; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
