Services for Carl Bernard “Stoney” Henderson, 43, of New Orleans, formerly of Ruleville, were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Ruleville.
Burial was in St. Mary Church Cemetery, Ruleville, under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, which was in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Robert Buckner officiated at the services.
Mr. Henderson is survived by his mother, Connie Caston of New Orleans; his grandmother, Eldora Henderson of Ruleville; two sons, Carl La’Dempsey Henderson Jr. and Cornelius Watson of Minter City; three sisters, Lawanda (Brooke) Henderson of Memphis and Lawanda Presley and Elise Presley, both of Gallatin, Tenn.; four god-sisters, Gwendolyn Hayes of Sardis, Burnadette Hayes of Brenham, Texas, Cassandra Hollaway of Las Vegas and Vester Lobbins-Taylor of Memphis; two god-brothers, Marvin Hollaway and Anthony Hollaway, both of Freeport, Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends
