Charlie Howard Trotter, 64, of Inverness, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at South Sunflower Hospital surrounded by his wife and children. He had been battling cancer for a period of time.
Charlie was born June 28, 1954 in Greenville to Franklin and Anna Bell Williams. He was a retired truck driver. He was a great man, loving husband and wonderful father and papaw. Hunting whitetail deer and catching crappie were his passions.
Mr. Trotter was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Trotter and a brother, Mark Trotter.
He leaves to cherish his memories the love of his life, his wife of 37 years, Ann; his children Amber (Ben) Allen of Ankeny, Iowa, Charla (Jeremy) Fleming of Inverness and Toni (Josh) Chandler of Parchman; a sister, Donna Trotter of Greenville; two brothers, Franklin Trotter Jr. and Bubba Trotter, both of Greenville; and most importantly the apples of his eyes, his grandchildren, Ty, Hayes, Blayne, Manning and Rhett; as well as a host of friends.
Visitation was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 18th at Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m.
Mortimer Funeral Home of Belzoni was entrusted with the arrangements.
