Services for Darthula Allen of Greenville, formerly of Indianola, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Missionary Baptist Church.
Ms. Allen, 91, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017.
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Clifford D. Wilson will officiate at the services.
Ms. Allen is survived by one son, George (Evelyn) Brown of Greenville; five sisters, Charlotte Webber of Apopka, Fla., and Diane (Will) Barnes, Margaret (Joe) Winston, Fannie Lane and Gloria Neal, all of Indianola; two brothers, Jessie James of Lake Placid, Fla. and Mose James of Cleveland, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
