Services for Derrick Hutchins Jr. of Greenville, formerly of Indianola, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Indianola. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hutchins, 19, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Ellis Johnson will officiate at the services.
Derrick is survived by: his father, Derrick Hutchins Sr.; his mother, Terri Hines-Land; two daughters, L’yndon Hutchins and De’moni Hutchins; three sisters, Mekellya Hines, Shabonnie Hutchins and Taconka Johnson; two brothers, Willie Hawthorne Jr. and Luther Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
