Services for Elizabeth Evans of Indianola will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Inverness.
Ms. Evans, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, with a family hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Jimmy Barnett will officiate at the services.
Ms. Evans is survived by two sons, Charles Ed Evans Jr. of Chicago and Mack Henry Evans Jr. of Greenwood; six daughters, Charlean (Joe) Vance of Chicago, Hattie V. Evans and Mary (Phillip) McGee, both of Indianola, Gail (Willie) Thomas of Vaiden, Elizabeth D. Evans of Greenwood and Almedia (Donald) Johnson of Greenville; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
