Henry Butler Sr., age 63, of Indianola passed away on January 9, 2018.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 19 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home in Indianola.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 11 a.m. at Word of Life Church of God in Christ in Indianola. Burial will take place at Riverside Memorial Gardens in Indianola, with Elder Henry Wright officiating over the service.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife Alma Floyd Butler of Shreveport, La.; daughters Stephanie (Kareem) Howard of Cibolo, Texas, Monica (Steven) Tucker, Jennifer (Freddie) McDaniel, both of Shreveport, La and Nicole (Desmond) Placke of Burlington, N.C. ; sons Henry Butler Jr. of Memphis and Johnny L. Johnson Jr. of Marks, Miss.; sisters Laura Thomas of Milwaukee, Belinda (Al) Hewitt of Memphis, Virginia Butler and Vera Butler of Chicago; brothers Henry (Ruthie) Wright of Marks, Miss., Edward (Sherri) Butler of Marks, Miss., William (Jackie) Brown of Lambert, Miss., Roger Butler of Lambert, Miss., Allen (Irma) Brown of Southaven, Roger Butler of Chicago and Robert Brownlee of Memphis; 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
