Jack Stanley Hoke, age 69, passed away at his home in Belzoni, on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024.
He was born Nov. 04, 1954, in Moorhead to Warren Earl Hoke Sr. and Mildred Luster Hoke. Jack, known to many as Red Man, grew up in the Gooden Lake community of Belzoni and was a retired equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Warren Earl Hoke Jr., Jerry Wayne Hoke and Mike Hoke.
Jack is survived by his best friend, Roxie Hoke; three nieces, Lori Verhage (Craig), Robin Toler (Kent), and Mandy Champagne (Clinton); one great-niece, Anna Street Toler; three great-nephews, Warren Toler, Woods Toler and Cash Champagne; a sister-in-law, Diane McMinn; numerous aunts and cousins; and his chocolate lab, Pearl.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service began at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Linda Malone officiating. A private burial followed at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness.
Burton Funeral Home of Indianola was entrusted with arrangements.
