Jackie Ray Creel, Jr., 31, of Hollandale, affectionately known as “Lil Jack”, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 in Issaquena County.
He was born January 7, 1986, in Vicksburg to Jackie Ray Creel, Sr. and Essie Whitaker Creel. Lil Jack was a graduate of Camp Shelby Teen Program in Hattiesburg and was employed by Mark Dill Farms in Arcola.
He is survived by his father, Jackie Ray Creel of Arcola; mother, Essie Creel of Chatham; three daughters, Lauren Creel, Natalie Creel, and Elizabeth Grace Kendrick, all of Phoenix, Miss.; and four sisters, Tessie Creel of Waveland, Renea Creel of Greenville, Tianna Creel of Hollandale, and Becky Creel of Helena, Ark.
The family will receive friends today from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Burton Funeral Home with burial following in Gooden Lake Cemetery in Belzoni. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
