Services for Jo Ann Thomas of Inverness will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Inverness.
Ms. Thomas, 60, died Sunday, June 10, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Jimmy Barnett and the Rev. Edward Thomas will officiate at the services.
Ms. Thomas was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Thomas; her father, Elijah Ford; and her grandmother, Alice Lyons.
She is survived by one daughter, Latousha (Dewayne) Johnson of Inverness; two sons, Darryington Thomas and Christopher Thomas, both of Inverness; four sisters, Barbara Ann Murry of Inverness, Lula Ford and Lillie Ford, both of Chicago and Francis Ford of St. Louis; eleven brothers, Frederick (Mattie) Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., Michael (Annie Ruth) Thomas of Inverness, Edward (Willie Ann) Thomas of Indianola, Bobby (Tammy) Thomas of Isola, Willie Ford, Charlie Ford, Gerome Ford and Anthony Ford, all of Chicago, Elijah Ford and Eddie Ford, both of Virginia and David Washington of Hamilton, Ind., ; 9 grandchildren; one adopted son, James Hollins Jr. of Leland; and a host of other relatives and friends.
