Funeral services for Johnnie B. Williams Sr. of Indianola will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Blaine with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williams, 83, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2019 at South Sunflower County Hospital.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Dillon Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Pastor Lamar Shaw will officiate at the services.
Mr. Williams is survived by four sons, Johnnie B. Williams Jr., Michael Williams and Earl Williams, all of Chicago and Gus Williams of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three daughters, Helen Byrd and Johnnie Mae Williams, both of Indianola and Jennett Walker of Chicago; two brothers, Tommie Williams of New Orleans and Charlie Williams of Chicago; one sister, Bobbie Williams of Chicago; and a host of other relatives and friends.
