Marilyn Jean Young Henry, 75, died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her home in Isola.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday January 20th, 2018 at Mortimer Funeral Home, Belzoni, Mississippi.
Memorial services will immediately follow at noon.
Marilyn was born June 3rd, 1942 in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Eugene Young and Norma Nell Lindsey Young.
She lived the majority of her life in Humphreys County, but in her early days she worked as a telephone operator in Steele, Missouri. She was a member of the Isola Garden Club and served as City Clerk in Isola for seven years. She owned the Corner Store in Swiftown and she also worked as a receptionist at Dr. Gorton's Clinic.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lee Roy Henry; as well as her parents.
She is survived by three children, Kim Kenty of Indianola, Kathy Henry Dauler of Ecru, and Lee (Robin) Henry of Isola; one sister, Marge Melton of Hayti, Missouri; one brother, Mickey Young of Piggott, Arkansas; and three grandchildren, Michael Kenty, Caitlyn Henry, and Madisyn Henry.
