Services for Melessie D. Ellis of Indianola will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Indianola. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Ellis, 51, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
Bishop Roderick Mitchell will officiate at the services.
Ms. Ellis is survived by: her fiancée, Rosland Love; four sons, Johnathan Herring, Travis Herring, Amarion Clark and Likerrius Jackson; two daughters, Zenaya Raglins and Rasiyah Jackson; eight brothers, Eldridge Herring, Stevie Herring, Robert Herring, Tony Ellis, Lamarie Ellis, Davis Ellis, Christopher Ellis and Steven Herring; three sisters, Viella Tigues, Carolyn Whitaker and Barbara Herring; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
