Paul Albert Williams, 57, of Indianola, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola.
Paul was born March 21, 1967, in Greenville, to Frances Smith Williams and Charles Edward Williams. He grew up in Indianola where he attended Indianola Academy. Paul later graduated from Mississippi Delta Community College. He worked for many years as a cotton ginner and farm manager. Paul was a private person, but he enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family. He loved being outside and tinkering with anything. Paul enjoyed blues music, reading, watching old westerns, and history, especially World War II documentaries.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eunice and Man Williams and Elizabeth and Henry Smith; and his sister, Mia Williams.
Paul is survived by his son, Justin Williams (Sharee) of Bentonia; his parents, Frances and Charles Williams of Indianola; the love of his life, Kelly Ferrell of Indianola; sister, Cathe Lott (Drew) of Cleveland; grandson, Christian Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held Saturday, April 6, at Wright Miller Cemetery in Caile. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
