Reba J Breazeale, 82, a resident of Indianola Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, went to her Heavenly reward on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018. She was formerly from Inverness.
Reba was born on June 20, 1936 in Oak Grove, La. to Jewel Jefferson and Verona Bonner Breazeale. She attended school in the Oak Grove area. She was a retired towboat cook.
Nanny, as she was known by her children and grandchildren, often said "Heaven is home, but I'm not homesick yet." She got homesick last week and the family is so glad she's there now for eternity with her Lord and other loved ones. She will be forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
Mrs. Breazeale is predeceased by her parents; a brother, Carlton Breazeale; a sister Norma Bates; her baby boy, Byron Williams; and son-in-law Charlie Trotter.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving family, Greg Anthony of Mer Range, La., Cissy (Ron) Ellis of West Monroe, La., Ricky (Gayann) Anthony of Lewiston, Maine, Jeff (Brenda) Anthony of Crowley, Texas, and Ann Trotter of Inverness; four sisters, Eula Beason of Oak Grove, La., Sharon (Herbert) Forman of Clinton, Pat (Errol) Smith of West Point, and Mable (Danny) Moody of Tupelo; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Beulah Baptist Church cemetery in Oak Grove, La.
